These pictures taken by Arthur Fairhurst, Turton Road, Tottington show Edgworth after heavy snowfall in the 1930's. This photograph of Bolton Road, Edgworth was taken to capture Mr Fairhursts liking of 'the barrow and spade' used here to help move the snow off the roads.
