From the Bolton Evening News, first published Wednesday 7th Aug 2002.

GOVERNMENT inspectors have given a Hindley nursery top marks.

Princess Street nursery, in Gilbert Street, is a good school with first rate teaching, according to Ofsted inspectors.

The report states: "The children's personal development is fostered very well and they achieve a high standard. The acting headteacher provides good leadership and is managing the school well so that it is improving."

The acting head, Janet MacGowan, said the nursery was delighted with the report.
