THE Redmayne Bentley Bolton Association Under 15 team clinched a place in the semi-final of the North-West Interleague Competition with a 24-run win over the Saddleworth League. The Association were inserted on a damp wicket and collapsed to 48 for 6. A very solid innings of 50 not out from Daisy Hill's David Gleave then ensured a respectable total of 134 for 8 off 40 overs. Tight opening bowling by Peter Lomax (Elton) with 1 for 18 and Man of the Match Gleave (3 for 17) put Saddleworth behind the clock and were dismissed for 110 in the penultimate over.
